NAACP Issues Travel Warning After Officer Shooting

August 31, 2018

The Allentown (PA) NAACP has issued a travel warning to minorities after a Whitehall Police officer killed a man acted erratically.

According to the NAACP, the warning was issued because the South Whitehall Township police do not know how to deal with people of color.

The officer has since been charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Until August 2017, the NAACP had never issued a travel warning in it’s 108 years of existence.  The warning in Pennsylvania follows similar travel warning on American Airlines and the State of Missouri.

Considering more minorities die from eating hot dogs, bee stings and falling out of bed each year than are shot by law enforcement, we wonder why the NAACP is keeping this travel ban to just Allentown?

Will their next stop be Philadelphia or Chicago or Baltimore, where thousands of young African Americans have died in recent years at the hands of felons?

We won’t hold our breath……
