PEARL RIVER, La. — A disgraced Catholic priest in Louisiana pleaded guilty to a felony obscenity charge after he was caught filming a threesome with two dominatrices on a church altar, according to reports.

Travis Clark received a three-year suspended prison sentence for engaging in the defaming act, along with three years of supervised probation and a $1,000 fine, the Advocate reported.

Clark, 39, was serving at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Pearl River when a passerby noticed lights on inside the facility one night in September 2020. The witness peered through a window and saw a half-naked priest engaging in sex acts with two women in corsets and high-heeled boots on the church’s altar.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans immediately suspended Clark following the incident, Law Officer reported in 2020.

“What upsets me is, why did he have to do that there?” town council member Kat Walsh said after the arrest became public. “I’m upset for all of us, the parishioners of the church. Why there?”

A representative of the Archdiocese of New Orleans was present in court and signed off on the sentence after Clark entered his plea on Monday.

The defiled altar was burned in the aftermath of Clark’s “demonic” conduct, the archbishop of New Orleans said. A new altar was consecrated in November 2020.

The ordained priest was also defrocked shortly after his arrest and paid restitution to the church in the amount of $8,000, the New York Post reported.

The two professional dominatrices, Mindy Dixon and Melissa Cheng, pleaded guilty in July to misdemeanor counts of institutional vandalism. As a result, they received two years of probation.

PEARL RIVER, La. — Salacious details from police about the arrest of a Louisiana priest last week add to an already devastating period in the Archdiocese of New Orleans’ ongoing church sex abuse scandal.

The Pearl River priest was taken into custody for obscenity after getting caught having sex with two dominatrices on the altar of his church, court documents revealed, WWL-TV reported.

A witness in Pearl River, northeast of New Orleans, called police on Sept. 30 after allegedly viewing Rev. Travis Clark, 37, through a window engaged with two high-heeled, corseted women. Clark was allegedly partially dressed in his priestly attire.

The group had allegedly set up stage lighting and appeared to be recording the encounter on a cellphone, according to the New Orleans Advocate.

The witness said they became suspicious when noticing the lights at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church were on late at night. The encounter was recorded by the witness and showed to police, according to reports.

Clark, who has been the pastor at the church since last year, was arrested for allegedly having sex in a publicly visible location.

Moreover, the two women, Mindy Dixon, 41, and Melissa Cheng, 23, were also arrested.

Dixon is an adult film actress and works as a dominatrix, Fox reported. A social media post from Dixon the day before her arrest said she was going to New Orleans to meet another dominatrix and “defile a house of God,” the newspaper reported.

Clark was also the chaplain of a nearby Catholic high school. He was ordained as a priest in 2013.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans said it suspended Clark on the day of his arrest, according to WWL-TV in New Orleans.

“What upsets me is, why did he have to do that there?” town council member Kat Walsh said. “I’m upset for all of us, the parishioners of the church. Why there?”

Archbishop Greg Aymond went to the church days later for a church ritual to restore the altar’s sanctity, the station reported.

Clark had taken over the chaplain position at the high school for another priest after he resigned last summer over allegedly inappropriate texts with a student. Clark was released from jail on a $25,000 bond.

Neither the archdiocese nor Clark have made public comment about the arrest.

On the same day as the arrest, another New Orleans priest, Rev. Pat Wattigny, revealed he had allegedly sexually abused a minor in 2013, the New Orleans Advocate reported. He was removed from the ministry immediately.
