In a recent article by the USA Today in reference to Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid not standing for the National Anthem, they cite the incident with Officer Ben Fields in South Carolina. It has been the only specific incident given but there is a small problem with that example.
Fields was fired from his agency and there is an active FBI and DOJ investigation into the incident.
Is it not ironic that those that claim “no justice, no peace” are the same ones that never want to wait for justice and creating the exact opposite of peace.
So let us get this straight. Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players are so upset at police brutality that they aren’t standing for the National Anthem and the only example that is given is a police officer that was quickly fired and in the middle of an active investigation for that use of force with the FBI and DOJ?
Nice job boys, you truly are sheep that have no real reason why you can’t stand on two feet.
