Cutler, 41, was later released from custody after posting a $5,000 bond, a spokesperson for the Franklin Police Department told TMZ Sports.
The former NFL quarterback married Cavallari in 2013, but the couple announced their split in 2020 and finalized their divorce two years later. They share three children, ages 8-11.
Since September 2023, Cutler has been in a dating relationship with Samantha Robertson.
Cutler began his pro football career when he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round (11th overall pick) of the 2006 NFL draft after playing collegiately at Vanderbilt.
He spent three seasons in Denver before being traded to the Chicago Bears, where he played for the next eight years.
Cutler capped his 12-year NFL career by playing his final season with the Miami Dolphins in 2017, according to Pro Football Reference. He made his only Pro Bowl in 2008 after leading the AFC in passing yards.
