The Cowards of Chicago

What Was Once A Great City Now Looks Like 'The Purge'

If there was one example of the damage that cowardly leaders could do, it is the city of Chicago. It has become all too cliche to discuss the countless murders and violent attacks that occur on a weekly basis in a city that was once a shining star for our country.

That brightness is no more.

While not much is known for sure these days, we do know that in Chicago there will be a person shot every 120 seconds and there will be a murder every 10 hours.  Sadly, the citizens look to leadership under crisis and the leadership in Chicago are the ones responsible for the crisis.

From Mayor Lightfoot announcing a state of emergency due to racism while violent criminals terrorize hard working citizens to Chief Brown implementing ridiculous and unsafe policy revisions that take resources from cops while giving all the leverage to criminals and the district attorney, Kim Foxx, going after cops while giving a pass to criminals, it seems all but lost.

That cowardice seemingly came to a crescendo of stupidity this week after Chicago Officer Ella French was gunned down. In remarks, Mayor Lightfoot called her Ella Frank while Chief Brown called her Ella Fitzgerald.

They would have never made that mistake if the social justice warriors demanded they say a criminals name.

The cops in Chicago have had enough. They have responded with the only way they know how. Resignations and retirements have never been higher and last week they literally turned their back on Lightfoot when she visited another critically injured officer at the hospital.

The lack of support combined with the cowardice of leadership has ended any form of law enforcement in Chicago and anyone living there will tell you it resembles more of The Purge than the proud city it once was.

The cowards leading the city are doing the only thing they know at this point in the crisis.

They are blaming others.

The chief is blaming the prosecutor while the prosecutor is blaming the cops and all the while, Mayor Lightfoot is blaming everyone but herself….and criminals.

The mayor loves to blame racism while every facet of government in Chicago is led by others that have her same skin color. She has mentioned white supremacy while roughly 75% of the homicide victims and suspects are either black or they are white supremacists with a major identity crisis. Recently, Lightfoot mixed up her blame and called out guns as the problem while omitting the actual criminals that are using them.

Of course Lightfoot is not the only coward playing cowardly games with cities like Portland, Seattle and St. Louis using the same playbook.

You may ask when will this madness end?

As long as the citizens of Chicago permit leaders like Lightfoot to reign, it will never end.

The media will not hold her accountable and the activists continue to cheer the so called reforms so the only chance to end the continual violence and mayhem are with those that reside in Chicago…or should we say those that have not yet fled the city.
