Lexipol is proud to launch their Custody Policy Manual and Daily Training Bulletin Service in Idaho. Lexipol, America’s leading provider of risk management resources for public safety organizations, has expanded their services to include a Custody Manual that directly addresses the needs of jails and holding facilities. Lexipol services include customizable, web-based policy manuals that contain solid, realistic, ongoing and verifiable training. Lexipol is recognized for a proactive approach in decreasing liability exposure backed by technical and legal expertise.

Lexipol’s Law Enforcement Policy Manual services are currently being used by over 75 law enforcement agencies in the State of Idaho, including the Ada County Sheriff’s Office—a Lexipol client since 2005. “As with most agencies, our old policy manuals were almost out of date as soon as we published them,” said Ada County Sheriff, Gary Raney, “and then we struggled to keep them up-to-date as things changed.  The Lexipol manual has been a great relief to management and an asset to operations.  We save countless hours by not having to do our own research, and we have a tool that is defensible and useful.  Lexipol has been responsive to our suggestions and has simplified the process over time to where I can’t ever see not using Lexipol.”

Lexipol’s new Custody Policy Manual service offers agencies with inmate holding facilities the same highly cost-effective model and powerful tools that have supported law enforcement organizations for over twelve years, by providing:

•    Policies and procedures that reflect up-to-date, applicable industry standards and best practices;
•    Customized content for the State of Idaho;
•    Daily scenario-based training that reinforces approved policies and procedures;
•    Regular updates to policies and procedures as statutes, case law, and regulations change.

Lexipol offers the most comprehensive solution for managing policy and procedure in law enforcement agencies. The Lexipol policy and training system has helped agencies throughout the country reduce risk and stay ahead of litigation trends, while at the same time communicating clear and concise policy guidance to their employees.
