A Las Cruces (NM) police officer was cleared of a shooting that happened last month after he killed a man that had pointed a gun at him. The incident started when police received calls of a suspicious person possibly armed with a knife.

Officer Kenneth Davis was the first to arrive on scene. He found Sedillo sitting in a black Honda accord on the side of the road. As the officer approaches the car, sedillo leans out of the rear passenger window and points a gun at him.
