Washington D.C. Metro Police released body camera footage of  fatal shooting on Christmas Day.  The suspect turned on the gas on a stove and began lighting paper towels in the domestic violence dispute, police said.

Gerald Hall, 29, of Northeast D.C., died Sunday after he was shot by police in the 3200 block of Walnut Street, NE.

Hall stabbed a woman inside the home on Walnut Street. Police ordered Hall to “drop the knife several times,” but he didn’t, the report says.

At least one officer fired. Hall was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries; he later died.
