KKTV reports that two people have been arrested after a pursuit in Teller County (CO) that included shots fired at law enforcement.
Cripple Creek (CO) police tried to stop a stolen vehicle. The driver of the vehicle took off traveling northbound on Teller Country Rd. 1.

Just south of the Evergreen Station, a Teller County Sheriff’s Deputy deployed stop sticks. While passing by the suspect, 26-year-old Austen Adams, fire several shots from a handgun at the deputy. Adams continued driving after running over the stop sticks.
For several miles Adams continued to fire shots at Cripple Creek Officers.
Adams eventually came to a stop with three flat tires. He and a female passenger, 18-year-old Tara Lynn Kennedy Tarasi, were arrested. A stolen handgun was recovered.
No law enforcement personnel returned fire.
