A Raleigh (NC) police officer was shot Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex on University Court off Lake Dam Road near Lake Johnson.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. as officers responded to a burglary call.
Police said a suspect was also shot.
Their conditions were not immediately known.
