SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Springfield Township police rescued a dog after he fell through the ice on a pond Sunday afternoon and returned him to his family.
According to News 5, Officer Simms waded through a pond to rescue the dog the department is now calling “Lucky.”
Lucky was not identified and the Department set out to find his home.
Once the rescue video was posted to Facebook, police were able to reunite him with his family.
