Sergeant David Gibbs, 42, was killed in a vehicle collision after his cruiser lost control on a wet road and went into oncoming traffic and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The wreck occurred on westbound Highway 210 near Buffalo.
Sergeant Gibbs was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
