In less than a day, 32 were people shot, including 8 killed in Chicago—in what DNAinfo Chicago reports has been the “most deadly weekend of the year.”
According to the article, Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson stated, “it was a tough weekend” for the police department and for the city as 17 people were shot and killed, and 57 others were wounded.
