Detroit Police Officer Myron Jarrett was killed Friday night in a hit-and-run accident near Puritan and Monica, reports say.
Police have arrested Steven Patrick Guzina, 34, of Lincoln Park in connection with the case.

The officer was responding to a traffic investigation when he was struck by a Dodge pickup truck. Police say the suspect left the truck and fled on foot.
