Two suspects were dead, and at least four Chicago police officers were injured late Friday morning in a police pursuit that started after a Chicago robbery and ended in the city’s West Pullman neighborhood.
According to preliminary information from authorities, two suspects were dead from the crash at 125th Street and Union Avenue. Four Chicago police officers suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, authorities said.
According authorities, two men died Friday afternoon in the 500 block of West 124th Street. They were identified as Jimmy Malone, 26, and Ronald Arrington, 22, of the 12400 block of South Union Avenue.
Reports indicated one officer suffered a broken arm, and another suffered a broken leg.
The two people who died were suspects, authorities said.
A civilian not involved in the chase might have suffered a heart attack, according to a police spokesman.
