Tostitos may have come up with the best marketing campaign that we have seen in some time. For Super Bowl Sunday, they have integrated a breathalyzer into a special edition bag of chips that aims to tell those who might think about driving home after watching the Super Bowl and drinking to think twice.
In fact, if you flunk the test, an Uber code will be provided to you to help you get home safe.
Unfortunately, the bags don’t actually exist for the customers. The breathalyzer bag was developed as part of an elaborate advertising campaign and was only sent out to the media.
Ironically, Tostitos will not have a commercial during the Super Bowl but rather raised the bar on getting attention at a very low cost.
So if you see a bunch of drunks blowing into regular chip bags this Sunday, don’t be alarmed and make sure they get a ride home.
