The man suspected of attacking at least two women with feces in Manhattan is in custody, police said.
A 42-year-old man was apprehended at a Brooklyn homeless shelter after police received a tip. He was being questioned at the Manhattan SVU in East Harlem Friday morning.
Cops have been searching for a man captured on video violently shoving a bag of feces down the pants of a 27-year-old woman walking on East 74th Street on the Upper East Side Monday.
The same man is believed to be behind a similar attack hours later on East 91st Street. In that attack, the suspect smeared feces on another woman, according to police.
