Heaggan-Brown was terminated as the result of “a Milwaukee Police Department Internal Affairs investigation related to the criminal complaint filed against him on October 20th—accusing him of sexual assault” according to a Fox6now.com news report.
Former MPD officer Heaggan-Brown is facing criminal charges including: second degree sexual assault (two counts); prostitution (two counts); and capture an intimate representation without consent.
These charges, according to the news report, stem from a complaint made to the Milwaukee police on August 15th, by a victim who stated he had been sexually assaulted by Heaggan-Brown, who was off-duty at the time of the incident. MPD’s Internal Affairs Division and Sensitive Crimes Division conducted an investigation, which led to a criminal complaint filed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
The criminal complaint describes a total of four victims of incidents which occurred in December 2015, July 2016 and August 2016.
