SAVANNAH, Georgia – The Savannah Police Department is investigating a mass shooting that injured nine people Friday night. The event occurred at approximately 9 p.m.
One death has reported but sources tell Law Officer that the scene remains active and streets are blocked off.
Several of the individuals shot are in critical condition.

The victims included a 2-year-old and. 13 year-old. Both reportedly have non-life threatening injuries.
The shooting happened at Fred Wessels Park in downtown Savannah.
