A Lucas County grand jury has indicted a Toledo police officer on two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of compelling prostitution.
Officer Mike E. Moore removed himself from the Toledo Police payroll on November 9th. Moore is a member of TPD’s vice unit. He’s been with the department since 2002.
Moore was placed behind bars after that indictment was handed down Thursday. A check with the Lucas County Jail shows that Moore was later released after posting $50,000 bond.
According to a search warrant, Moore is accused of having unlawful sexual conduct with a minor on more than one occasion, the most recent occurrence on November 1st.
The document indicates that he used his cell phone to arrange for the sexual encounters and picked the minor up in his pickup truck.
