ESRI is offering free geographic information system (GIS) seminars in various areas of the country through June and July. Each seminar will explore GIS from the law enforcement perspective. Attendees will see firsthand how GIS solutions can be integrated agency-wide, enhancing a department s operations with powerful tools and workflows as well as strategic and tactical approaches.
ESRI staff will also discuss how GIS can:
Provide a faster, safer, more-informed response;
Fuse disparate data to identify emerging problems or threats;
Enhance decision-making and situational awareness;
Help allocate resources; and
Identify critical areas.
