Imagine being surrounded for two days by hundreds of civilians who deeply care about you as a law enforcement family. At every turn you’re greeted, thanked and honored for your service and sacrifice. Imagine a conference hearing from world class warriors who have seen the dark side of humanity, have suffered loss, yet through it all will share things that will greatly benefit you and your spouse!
Imagine a family event the next day that includes numerous children’s bounce houses and slides, crafts, go-carts, BB gun and fishing competitions, canoeing … rifles, pistols, cannons, machine guns and skeet with all ammo provided at no cost … An Individual Shooting and 3 Man Team Competition … Knife throwing, tomahawk throwing, battle axe throwing, spear throwing, an archery range, and obstacle course with an Ultimate Warrior Competition … a drive by shooting competition (airsoft), off road adventures in hummers and jeeps, helicopter rides and all the food you can eat.
“I’m sure,” the skeptical cop in you, says, “NO ONE does anything like that for nothing … They’re up to something.”
Be wrong for once and pleasantly surprised!
