Show Low (AZ) police confirm an officer was shot on Tuesday.
The officer has died.

Details are limited but police saw a suspect leaving a Days Inn 480 W. Deuce of Clubs.
DPS is reporting that the shooting happened at an Arby’s near the motel.
Police said Daniel Erickson, 36, was last seen wearing a long, dark trench coat. He left in a heavily damaged dark black/gray S10 Blazer
He was armed with a silver handgun. Show Low police are warning that people should not approach the suspect.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety issued a Blue Alert for the suspect.
