Based on a Remington Footprint using 4140 CrMo steel drilled and tapped for 8-40 scope mount threads, the rifle also features an extended collar to hide the recoil lug. The fluted body bolt features a floating bolt head to ensure the proper alignment in the receiver. The barrel on the BPR-17 is made from 416 stainless steel with a threaded muzzle and is Cerakote finished for durability and corrosion resistance. Other features include a coned bolt nose and breech and a sliding plate extractor, an adjustable LOP and cheek height buttstock.
