Following the murder of two Honolulu police officers on Sunday, tributes are coming in from across the globe.
Jonny Castro, a police officer from the Philadelphia area and United States Army Combat Veteran has added artwork of fallen Officer Tiffany Enriquez and Officer Kaulike Kalama to his impressive, but tragic lineup of art.
Enriquez and Kalama are shown in the portraits donning lei over their HPD uniforms.
Castro has been doing the art for fallen officers for several years and does it “100% free of charge, for family members and the men and women that worked beside these heroes. The printing and shipping costs of these prints is 100% funded by me. I absolutely will not sell prints or accept any sort of money of them. I never have and I never will***,” according to his Facebook page.
We can speak nothing but incredible things about Castro. In a world where many look to make a dollar, Castro has rejected that and we actually don’t think he has to. His incredible work and the time it takes is certainly worth money and we respect him immensely for his stance.
