FARGO, N.D. — A man on trial in Fargo reportedly took his own life Monday afternoon at a federal courthouse, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
After his verdict trial at Quentin Burdick Courthouse in downtown Fargo, the man stood up and slit his throat with either a pen or plastic shank, according to @BaileyHurleyVNL.

As a result of the courtroom drama, law enforcement officers responded to calls around 2 p.m. A witness told WDAY news the man cut his throat after getting “bad news” from a judge.
The man’s identity remained undisclosed at the time of publication. Furthermore, the nature of his verdict was not immediately clear, Fox reported.
