A Five Guys employee in Howell (NJ) called a group of police officers “pigs” Friday night and was promptly fired.
The worker referred to five Howell Police Officers as “pigs” when they entered the restaurant.
Other employees in the restaurant reportedly “laughed” at the employee’s insults according to a post about the incident in a Howell Facebook group.
According to NJ.com. Cortney Pechillo, the district manager said that she spoke to the chief of police Saturday morning and wrote an apology to the entire police force.
Howell Police Chief Andrew Kudrick posted a statement on the department’s Facebook page after he met with Pechillo saying that the conversation was positive.
