Call for Contributions for TASER Training CD
The Police Officers Safety Association (POSA) is compiling a CD-ROM of TASER training drills, including non-firing drills, target-based drills and simulations. TASER instructors may submit both basic and advanced drills, as well as drills that integrate the TASER with other force options. Contributors whose submissions are used will receive a free CD-ROM. Drug-Lab Response Film
Emergency Film Group has released a new training program for emergency responders who may be involved in a raid at an illegal drug lab or who may unexpectedly discover one. “Response to Illicit Drug Labs” covers methods cookers use to manufacture methamphetamine, hazards found at labs and dump sites and procedures for identifying potential clandestine drug operations. A second feature, “HazMat for Meth Labs,” examines hazardous properties of chemicals commonly found at a lab sites and covers protective clothing for responders, decontamination, waste disposal and lab-site cleanup.
