A Texas Constable is in critical condition after a driver allegedly slammed into several patrol cars and hit Liberty County Precinct 1 Constable Justin Johnston late Thursday night.
Johnston was directing traffic when the assault occurred.

Reports indicate that Johnston had bleeding in his brain and was in a medically induced coma.
Samuel Leyva slammed into Johnson with a red pickup, speeding down the shoulder of the road, and going through barricades right before the incident.
