A 19-year veteran of the NOPD accused of raping a 14-year-old male relative earlier this year was rebooked Monday (Nov. 21) on 16 new counts — 13 of them sex crimes–including a count of first-degree rape and four new counts of second-degree rape.
Marcellus White, 46, was arrested in September on accusations that in March or early April, he pushed a male family member onto a bed in his Algiers home and sexually assaulted him.

On Sept. 23, White was booked on one count each of second-degree rape, molestation of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.
On Monday, White was rebooked on the five new rape charges as well as two counts of sexual battery, two counts of oral sexual battery, two counts of molestation of a juvenile, two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count each of simple kidnapping, false imprisonment and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, court records show.
