A Wisconsin man is facing charges after police say he chopped off a woman’s finger with a machete in what authorities believe was a part of a blood ritual.

Jonathan Schrap is charged with mayhem and reckless injury in an Aug. 27 incident at his house in Suamico.

A criminal complaint says Schrap and his friends were staging a “ritualistic memorial” to commemorate a deceased member of the Juggalos, the name given fans of the Detroit rap duo Insane Clown Posse.

Police said that Schrap, his friend Nick Laabs – a local rapper who goes by the name “Bloody Ruckus” – and 27-year-old Shelby Neun were talking about blood-drinking cult rituals on the morning of Saturday, August 27.

WBAY reports that Nuens told police she offered to let someone cut her arm and drink her blood. She told police that Schrap used a machete to make a deep cut in her arm, then he filled a shot glass with her blood and drank it. Later, someone brought up the idea to cut off someone’s finger.

Nuens – who said she was not using drugs or alcohol when this happened – told them to chop off her pinky.

She told investigators Schrap took the machete and chopped off her right pinky finger, all the way up to palm of her hand, causing her to bleed profusely.

Nuens said Schrap put the finger in the freezer and said he would cook and eat it later.

Nuens didn’t want anyone to be charged because the ritual was voluntary.
