Police were able to save a woman and her three-year-old child, after an astute UPS driver noticed the desperate woman’s message for help.
The incident happened on Tuesday, when a UPS driver showed up to pick up a package at a residence in Robertsville, Missouri.
A woman answered the door and handed over a package with the words ‘Call 911’ on it.
The UPS driver noticed the scrawled SOS and alerted police.
Inside, they found a woman who was being held captive by her own husband, 33-year-old James Tyler Jordan, and took him into custody.
Their three-year-old child had also been locked in a bedroom for the past 15 hours without food or water.
