LYNCHBURG, Va. — Lynchburg Police said they are looking for a Roanoke man after two high-school girls were shot while working at McDonald’s.
Police said officers responded to the restaurant around 6:21 p.m Friday night.
Upon arrival, officers determined there was altercation between a customer who was at the drive-thru window and an employee.
Another employee said it was over a meal, ABC3340 reported.
Police said the customer, identified as Sherwin Torrance Overstreet, drove away from the drive-thru, parked his vehicle, then went inside and continued to fight. He then shot the two girls and then fled the scene in a 2005 red Mazda SUV with a Virginia license plate, URS-7076.

Overstreet is charged with two counts of malicious wounding and two counts of using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Both girls have been hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
