NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Two Indiana police officers were responding to a call for assistance when they crashed into each other, landing them in the hospital early Monday morning, according to authorities.
The Noblesville Police Department said two of their officers collided about 12:40 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 8th and Conner streets. Officer Tiffany Bledsoe, 31, and Officer Levi Adkins, 23, were involved in the blue-on-blue crash while responding to a call for help from a partner officer, according to NPD.
Further details were not provided regarding the call for help, although the officer who summoned assistance is presumably all right.
Police said both officers had their emergency equipment activated at the time of the collision, WISH reported.
Although the officers were hospitalized, the news outlet said their injuries were not life threatening.
