NEW YORK – A disturbing anti-police rant calling for “cop killers” to “stand up” was posted to the shared Facebook account of a city corrections captain and her husband on Wednesday, infuriating law-enforcement insiders, the New York Post reported.

“Y’ALL UPSET ABOUT SOME PIGS GETTING WATER THROWN ON THEM,” reads the all-caps verbiage posted to the joint account of DOC Capt. La Shonda Stanley and her husband, Rashid, referencing a pair of recent attacks in which uniformed police officers in Brooklyn and Manhattan were drenched with buckets of water.

“THEY’RE LUCKY THEY DIDN’T GET SHOT WHILE MAKING AN ARREST!” continued the rant. “ALL THE INNOCENT BLACK MEN AND WOMEN KILLED AT THE HANDS OF THESE PIGS.”

And the anger continues …

The diatribe then references the recent decision by federal prosecutors not to pursue charges against NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo related to the 2014 death of Eric Garner.

“Y’ALL FORGOT ‘ERIC GARDNER’ [sic] KILLER JUST GOT OFF WITH MURDER, ON CAMERA!” reads the post, which was private and not available for public viewing.

Moreover, the hateful writing even implicates “so called good cops” who insist wrongdoers are just bad apples.

“DEATH TO YOU SCUMBAGS ALSO, YOU STAND BY AND ALLOW YOUR FELLOW OFFICERS TO DO WRONG, YOU GUILTY AS WELL!” the post reads. “F–K THE POLICE…. ITS TIME WE SHOOT BACK!!! COP KILLERS STAND UP!!!!”

The repugnant call for violence, signed “Mr. Stanley,” understandably left police officers incensed and feeling betrayed by Stanley’s Rikers Island-assigned wife.

“She’s supposed to be a member of law-enforcement and we’re supposed to have each other’s backs,” fumed one police source. “The public is against us, but when other law-enforcement is against you, we’re really in trouble.”

Added another insider, “It’s an affront to all law-enforcement men and women who try to make this city safe. It’s even more disgusting that this is a supervisor who’s supposed to set an example.”

La Shonda Stanley insisted Wednesday that her husband was the one who authored the offensive post, according to the Post.

“Oh, I didn’t make those comments,” said Stanley as she arrived at her Brooklyn home, still wearing what appeared to be DOC-standard blue pants. “Yeah, that’s my husband’s comment.”

A voicemail message left for Rashid Stanley wasn’t immediately returned, and neither the DOC nor the Correction Captains’ Association union immediately responded to requests for comment.
