Law Enforcement Limited in Use of GPS Tracking

The Supreme Court has ruled that secret use of GPS tracking is illegal

WPMI NBC 15 (Mobile, Ala.)-- The supreme court has handed down a decision that impacts law enforcement across the nation. Agencies can no longer use GPS technology to track drug runners and others suspected of criminal activity. The court ruled that the technique is an invasion of privacy. Law enforcement now must obtain a warrant along with additional requirements.
