This position is located in Camp Pendleton, CA.
 
Vacancies from this announcement may be filled at the following grade levels: GS-05, GS-06, GS-07
 
This position has promotion potential to the GS-07 grade level. If selected below the full performance level, incumbent may be noncompetitively promoted to the next higher grade level after meeting all regulatory requirements, and upon the recommendation of management. Promotion is neither implied nor guaranteed.

Major duties and responsibilities:

 
·     Receive and process incoming fire alarms, emergency, and non-emergency calls for fire, medical, and police assistance. 
·     Dispatch personnel and apparatus to the scene of emergencies.
·    Record pertinent data, events, and logs.   
·     Initiate pre-arrival instructions to callers for fire, medical, and police emergencies.
·     Prioritize incoming emergency and non-emergency calls to dispatch emergency resources.
·     Communicate with medical services to provide information on the condition of injured persons.

Salary Information:$34,067.00 to $54,862.00 / Per Year
