Toronto Police Cycling Team

The Toronto Police Cycling Team is hosting the Canadian National Police And Peace Officers Memorial “Ride To Remember” which is a 460K ride over the course of 3 days starting 2009/09/24 and ending 2009/09/26.

This ride starts in Toronto and ends at the Canadian National Police Memorial on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

On 2009/09/27 riders and support volunteers will be participating in the Memorial.

The Toronto Cycling team has participated in many charitable rides including Police Memorial Rides in the USA.

Canada does not have a ride on behalf of the Canadian Police Memorial .

The Toronto Police Cycling Team is hosting this event. In order to raise funds for the memorial and bring awareness to the fact that we do have a memorial for officers that are killed in the line of duty.

The ride opening ceremonies will start at 7am on Sep 24 at the Toronto Police Association (180 Yorkland Blvd) Toronto Police Service, Chief Bill Blair, Toronto Police Amateur Athletic Association President, Mike Rosina   and Toronto Police Association President, Douglas Corrigan will all be in attendance.

Toronto Police Service Board Member Hamlin Grange will be riding at the start with us for a distance.

We would greatly appreciate your presence in order to support this worthwhile charitable event.
